Terms of use
In short: this site is a door to finalist.cc, where a person reads exterior painting quotes and writes scoping documents. We are not a painting contractor, we publish no painter list, and we do not send your request, quote or details to contractors. A painter you hire is a separate business, your contract is with that painter, and we are not responsible for that painter’s work.
Accepting these terms
By browsing housepainting.directory (the “Site”) or sending information through it, you agree to these terms and to our privacy page. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.
Information only
The scope checklist, glossary and other content on the Site are for information and scoping. They are not legal, accounting, tax or other professional advice.
- No contract. Sending information through the form does not create a binding contract.
- Benchmark notes and scoping documents. A person writes them from what you send. They describe a quote or a job; they are not an estimate, a bid or a judgment of what a job should cost.
- The scope checklist. The checklist lists what you tick. It is not an estimate, a bid or a price, and anything in it is subject to the facts of the job.
Acceptable use
Use the Site only for lawful inquiries. Do not:
- run scrapers, crawlers or other tools to harvest the Site’s content in bulk;
- send false, deceptive or spam submissions;
- probe, breach or try to get around the Site’s security or rate limits;
- pose as another person or business.
Intellectual property
The text, drawings, marks, layouts and code on the Site belong to Our Landmen LLC or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Our Landmen LLC and its affiliates, officers and contractors are not liable for indirect, punitive, special or consequential damages from using or relying on the Site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
